One of the benefits of this system is that the company has been in business long enough to have wisdom that can be passed on to the home builder. For example they note that the happy builders only do the work they know how to do.

The floor trusses are engineered to allow a longer span than stick building. There is a built in space to put in duct work, plumbing, wiring, etc. There is a reduction of or elimination of jack posts.

The net impact is that it is more cost effective to install and it is easy to inspect and the quality is better. The technology used in the factory is better than stick building on site. Yet it is a site built home and will be recognized as such by the inspectors.

The modular homes are built cheaper and conform to a lower code. They do not have the same beauty or resell value.

There are other homes that come in kits that have insulation built in to the panels. There are many people who like these systems but there are potential problems with breathing and with potential fires and there is an extra cost for the insulation.
